Harriet Muncaster is the author and illustrator of the internationally bestselling Isadora Moon, Mirabelle and Emerald series of young reader books, the highly-illustrated age 7-9 The Diary of Wiska Wildflower series and the middle-grade Victoria Stitch series, all published by Oxford University Press. The Isadora Moon books are available in forty-two different languages, and as audio books. The Isadora Moon series won the El Corte Inglés Children's Book of the Year in 2019 and has sold over 7 million copies worldwide. There are TV series of both Isadora Moon and Emerald available now.

Harriet was born in 1988. She grew up in Hitchin in Hertfordshire and now lives with her husband and daughter near some beautiful countryside in Bedfordshire, England. Harriet loves everything magical, sparkly, and teeny-tiny.

Non so che dire, mia figlia di 8 anni li ha letti tutti e le sono piaciuti tantissimo. La lettura è scorrevole, semplice anche se si imparano parole nuove, ben illustrato e sicuramente invoglia. Non c'è un ordine prestabilito anche se la storia un po' l'avrebbe ma si possono leggere come si vuole.

    Ho acquistato il libro per fare un regalo, esteticamente è molto bello, storia simpatica e carina di una bambina metà fata e metà vampira, lettura adatta a bambine di 7/8 anni.

    Lettura per bimbi da 7 a 9 anni. Libro bellissimo, regalato a mia figlia per 8° compleanno, dopodiché mi ha fatto acquistare l'intera serie di libri e li ha letti tutti. Bellissimi disegni. Questo è il primo della serie in ordine cronologico, la storia è molto carina e parla di amicizia ed accettazione. Anche tutte le storie dei libri a seguire hanno una morale, per cui consigliatissimi!!

    A mia figlia di 5 anni è piaciuto moltissimo questo libro, tanto che abbiamo acquistato quasi tutti i titoli della serie. Si tratta di libri a capitoli, che non sono mai troppo lunghi o pesanti da leggere. La grafica è delicata, le illustrazioni sono in bianco, nero e rosa, colori scelti ad hoc perché la protagonista è una piccola fatina-vampira. In questo libro Isadora dovrà scegliere se frequentare la scuola di fate (con grande gioia della mamma) o quella dei vampiri (con grande gioia del papà), ma c è anche una terza opzione...insomma se vogliamo il libro verte anche un po’ sul trovare il proprio posto nel mondo. A noi è piaciuto moltissimo.

    Libro bellino e divertente, la bambina è contenta e le piace tantissimo. Peccato il corriere che in una giornata di pioggia lo ha lasciato come si vede in foto (fortunatamente la vicina l’ha visto e l’ha preso prima che si bagnasse, anche se invece che lei lo poteva aver preso chiunque 😓)

    Storia carina e scorrevole adatta alle prime letture in autonomia.

    I disegni neri e rosa lo rendono particolare così come la copertina con i glitter che visivamente ha da subito catturato la curiosità di mia figlia di 7 anni
